The East Africa Art Biennale is organised and ruled by the central Organising Committee of the East Africa Art Biennale Association registered and based in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. The Organising Committee is forming biennale National Committees in the other countries of East Africa (Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda) with the purpose of selecting the local artists and organisations that will ultimately participate.
